Insect Frass is insect poop (like guano or castings) But unlike bats or birds, Insect Frass actually comes from plants. In all natural ecosystems (where there are no man-made chemical pesticides), insects feed on and digest vegetation, and give it right back to plants in the form of nature's perfect plant food. Plants benefit insects - Insects benefit plants!
Insects are made of chitin (“Kite-in”). When chitin is present plants protect themselves by producing an enzyme called “chitinase” which dissolves chitin. Chitin kills root feeding nematodes, fungus gnats and more. It will not kill beneficial insects.
Insect Frass has every functional group of beneficial bacteria, fungi & protozoa, which will retain and cycle nutrients in the root zone Insect Frass also has “chitosan”, which, when applied foliarly, protects plants from PM and botrytis and other fungal diseases Insect Frass provides every primary and secondary nutrient available.
