Pickles 101

Learn how to use cucumbers from your garden to make pickles!

Presented by Doreen Spires. This is a hands-on class!

She will teach you all about canning your cucumbers that you worked so hard to grow and making them into delicious dill pickles.

Doreen will cover how to get started, the difference between the different canning methods, materials needed, altitude adjustments, head space, temperatures, and shelf stability. We also have canning jars available for purchase. Attendees are required to bring the following: knife, cutting board, and measuring spoons.
